I would have given this 4 or even 5 stars if the service had been better. We did the take out option and it took almost 30 minutes to get two pulled pork sandwiches with fries. They weren't even that busy. We watched someone order their food, wait for 20 min and then leave because he had to get to his flight. The guy who took our order left immediately after taking the order to the point where after 15 minutes of standing there the lady who had taken everyone else's order asked what we had gotten and discovered that there was nothing put in. So, we had to wait another 15 minutes and then scarf our food down as fast as possible so that we made it on our flight.
The food was not half bad, the fries were pretty good and my fiance enjoyed the cole slaw. The pulled pork sandwich wasn't the most amazing thing I've ever had, but it's an airport and it was good for airport food.
Overall, for airport food, it's not bad. But it seems like they have an issue getting people their food at a decent time (all of this happens at the to go counter, by the way). It's one thing to be understaffed, it's a whole other thing to not tell people how long they'll be waiting before you take their money. I think we could have sat down at a restaurant eaten, and gotten the check in a shorter amount of time. -

3.5 rounded down.
I never expect much from airport food and Neely's BBQ tasted fine.
HOWEVER, like most of the other reviews say.. the service here is really lacking and they truly take their time making your food in the back.. I'm assuming it's mostly all pre-made, but somehow it took them SO long. Just make sure you have a lot of time if you're going to choose this as your pre-meal flight. -

Came for lunch on a Sunday. Place was packed. One waitress to cover 20+ tables but two bartenders. Service was abysmal despite the young lady's heroics. Got the meat and three with ribs. Ribs were not very good and weren't even sauced properly. Mac & cheese, slaw, and fries were all at least average.
If there were actual options at BNA this place would go broke but since it's one of the worst airports in the country for food, I expect they'll continue until the total BNA rebuild is done in 2023. -

I really hate doing this but it's deserved and necessary. The Mac n cheese is AWESOME. So is the coleslaw. The PROBLEM is they only give you 2 bites (this is absolutely true-no exaggeration). I asked the server and she said it's NORMAL. Wow. For the price you pay for airport food, you would think they would at least give you 3. The server was great. The pulled pork was yummy. But I'm hungry!!! Seriously! 2 bites???

Never been treated so rudely in my life!! Waited over 10 minutes to buy a water and tea. Even walked to a different store but they didn't have the item my wife wanted. Came back and was greeted with nothing but attitude. Someone came out, filled a water cup mumbled something, and walked on the back without helping me. AVOID!!
